WINNER SPRINT SUPER HEAVY DUTY Sealed Maintenance-Free series represents WINNER’s innovation and contribution for reliable solutions for heavy duty vehicles with high energy demand requiring no maintenance during entire service life.

WINNER SHD is the first Sealed Maintenance-Free series designed and introduced with double cover without plugs in the cover for commercial vehicles in Europe since 2008.

WINNER SHD integrates a special plate group vibration resistance design for excellent performance under extreme temperature conditions, for higher discharging requirements. The special built-in-cover venting system provides anti flame protection and acid leakage prevention during vehicle tilting or high charging. 

WINNER SHD Sealed Maintenance-Free range is composed of plates with increased thickness and expanded grid metal with Pb/Ca alloy for the positive and negative plates, which assure excellent resistance against corrosion. The types for small commercial vehicles have silver alloy for even higher performance and durability. The microporous enveloped separators coupled with glass mat, provide low resistance and prevent the shedding of the active material. The active mass and the ingenious plate design ensure positive reaction during the cyclic stress. The batteries are capable to resist deep and repeated discharged cycles and subsequent charges.

WINNER SHD is an excellent solution for the modern commercial heavy vehicles equipped with several electrical appliances and demanding high power supply (Under Euro 4/ Euro 5 / Euro 6 EU emission standards for heavy-duty highway truck and bus engines).
